Make your own jewelry with precious and semiprecious stones

Smyks present here some simple jewelry designs that you can make yourself with classic semi-precious links in different colors.
The stones are processed and inlaid by hand and are characterized by each having its own unique look, as the size and shape varies slightly from rock to rock . Links to the materials used in the web shop you will find further down in the text.

The socket is in sterling silver or silver and you can include choose amethyst, carnelian, chalcedony, turquoise, labradorite, citrine, lapis lazuli and onyx.

Bracelets with semiprecious stones

Make your own bracelet including with faceted amethyst in a fine spring color. Feminine and simple.

You need the following materials: 
1.5 m  pink nylon cord (also available in green and gray )
1 pc.  Amethyst stone-link
2 pcs.  silver plated beads between the inner diameter of 2 mm 
1 pc.  lock with sleeves (inner diameter 2mm) 
ca . 5 cm.  øskenkæde (only necessary if you want chain extender)

To burn gently in the string ends with a lighter, so that it is pointed and can be pulled through the eye of the link. You then leads the string through the eye, leading link down to the middle of the string and come both ends of the string through the wire clamp. You do this on both sides of the link. Wire clamp sits roughly by itself, but may be squeezed a little stuck with a flat nose pliers.

To glue both of the two ends into the sleeve. It is easier to glue them if you first burn them gently so the ends fuse together as shown above.

Connecting now øskenkæden with the sleeve by means of an eyelet. You can easily refrain from adding øskenkæden, but it allows to adjust the bracelet length below.

You can also use the fine links for earrings.
In the following, we show how to make earrings with labradorite stone-links and chain.

You need the following materials:
2 pcs. silver stone-link with labradorite
16 cm. necklace chain withpreciousmetal AR30
4 pcs. gilded sølvøskner 3mm
1 pair of gold ear stud with ball and eye.

ATTENTION. if you order stone-links online for earrings, it is important that you note field at the check-out makes us aware that the stones should be as equal as possible because, as mentioned earlier, is a little different.

Connect the chain link by means of the lug.

The dressing in the same way on the other side of the link with the earring by means of the second eyelet.

You can in the same way, using the chain and link, make a fine bracelet or use the link as decoration in a necklace.
Finally, it is also a bidtang remove one of the eyelets, whereby the link can be used as a pendant or charm for your bracelet. Use possibly a perlefil to remove any sharp edges where the eye has been.
